Jasmine is the Founder of Project 40 Collective, and Managing Editor at LooseLeaf magazine. A writer with interdisciplinary interests, her work has been published by The Spectatorial, softblow, ricepaper, Hart House Review, and more. Her chapbook, boke 暈け was released in late 2017 through wordsonpages.
Abby is the Artistic Director of Project 40 Collective, and Managing Editor at LooseLeaf Magazine. She considered herself a paper artist, working with the medium to create sculptures, cutouts, and paintings. By concealing and revealing elements on layered paper, her work captures moments of nostalgia and quiet happenings.
Mirae is an emerging cultural producer and sociocultural anthropologist, and the Community Director of Project 40. Her main form of artistic expression is visual mixed media and bilingual prose. Both her creative and research work are strongly rooted in her relationship with the land she resides and those she shares it with.
Jing is the Communications and Outreach Assistant at Project 40, and a first year Visual Studies student at U of T. She was born in Malaysia, studied in Singapore and is now living in Toronto. She is new to the city, and eager to learn and interact with the community here.
Lucy is a Chinese-Canadian artist and photographer based in Toronto. Her photographic interests are focused on exploring cultural identity, storytelling, and how real and imaginary narratives form our lives. When she is not making images, you can find her watching movies or rock climbing.
